Dial-in users are issued identification and security numbers which enable them to enter the system. These numbers must be kept confidential. Unauthorized users could overload our telephone lines making it more difficult to find an open line. Our computer is able to track apparent abuses of identification numbers.
I understand that the Dial-In News service is solely for the blind, visually impaired, and disabled who can’t read ordinary print. I promise that I will not disclose my identification code number to anyone. If I demonstrate the service to another person I will enter the code myself before I allow someone else to listen.
I further understand that if there is an abuse of my identification code number, resulting in a pattern of calls by several callers, my identification code will be changed. If the pattern persists, I will be suspended from the Dial-in service for a period of time.
